Arbitrator, Mediator, Hearing Officer and Fact Finder

Kathryn A. VanDagens is a full-time impartial Arbitrator, Mediator and hearing officer in labor and employment disputes, providing resolution in public and private sectors throughout the United States. Based in Lansing, Michigan, Ms. VanDagens maintains a second office in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. VanDagens is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and currently serves as a Vice President. She serves on a number of arbitration rosters, including AAA’s National Roster of (Employment) Neutrals, and the labor arbitrator panels of the FMCS, AAA, NMB, and the Michigan Employment Relations Commission (MERC). She also serves as an ad hoc hearing officer for the Michigan Department of Civil Service.

Ms. VanDagens has been a certified mediator since 2007, is listed on the American Arbitration Association’s labor and employment mediator rosters, and serves as a civil mediator for Ingham County 30th Circuit Court and the Resolution Services Center of Central Michigan.
